Despite a terrible weather forecast Kenton Cool and I headed to Avon Gorge for a few routes and a well overdue catch up.

We warmed up on a sport route called ‘Bushmen don’t surf’ 6b, before climbing a gorge classic ‘Yellow edge’ E3 5c. It was at the belay at the top of the climb the heavens opened… perfect timing. A abseil in the rain and headed straight to a coffee shop  Yellow edge was a great route, and one i would defiantly do again. It was great to catch up and climb with Kenton and I’m looking forward to getting back on the rock with him when he returns from Bolivia.
